Privacy Policy

The short version: we only collect what we need to book you a keynote.

Last updated July 1, 2026.

Who this policy is for

This site (booktherealracheldavis.com) is operated by Anchor & Staff LLC on behalf of Rachel A. Davis. When we say “we,” “us,” or “our” below, that's who we mean. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors and speaking-inquiry contacts, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly, or that's needed for the site to work.

  • Speaking inquiry details: your name, email, organization, event date, and anything you write in the message field of the contact form.
  • Basic web analytics: anonymized page views, device type, and referring site. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising and we do not sell analytics data.
  • Server logs: standard IP-address and request logs kept for security, kept no longer than 30 days.

We do not sell keynote recordings, book purchases, or event bookings through this site, so we do not collect payment information here.

How we use it

Contact information you send us is used solely to respond to your inquiry, coordinate a possible speaking engagement, and follow up afterward. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking first, we do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties except the two categories below.

Service providers we rely on

To run the site and respond to inquiries, we use a small number of vetted service providers. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Cloudflare — DNS, edge caching, and DDoS protection for the site.
  • Google Workspace — email delivery for messages sent via the contact form.
  • Namecheap: the domain registrar. The site is hosted on a Namecheap VPS (virtual private server).

How long we keep information

Speaking-inquiry messages are kept for as long as they may be relevant to a possible engagement (typically up to 24 months). If a booking happens, contact details may be kept longer as part of the event record. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you what information we have about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your information.
  • Stop contacting you.

Just email [email protected] and we'll take care of it, usually within a few business days.

Children

This site is intended for a professional audience booking Rachel to speak. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, note the change on the homepage. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
